Happy Chinese New Year!

 Hi all! First, i would like to say, happy new year ! Yup another new year has come and families are busy preparing their home for this occasion a.k.a the hong bao day! This time of the year should be my personal favorite as you all know, the packet money but i am also a bit stingy as if i see a particular  person gave me about 4 dollars for the packet money, i would just frown and say thank you. Well here wishing all of you a prosperous year ahead and a Happy new year!

A long journey ahead, or a short one? You decide.

 Hi all! Today i would like you to decide whether to take your future path to be a long one, or a short one? What i am trying to say is that will you take this year seriously as for the sec twos (mainly it includes me) will get 'streamed' into different sections next year accordingly to how well you performed that year and it will determined your future as if you don't start working hard now, you will never get a well paid job in the future! So think of how you are going to plan out your 'plan b' if things don't go as plan. Think of how this will affect You!Think of how people will look down at you if you don't performed well. This Will affect you whether it be if you are sec two or not as long as you are still studying, you will eventually need to choose your path! Do you want it to be a long and boring one, taking up alot of your time or do you want the shorter path which will decreased your burdened? You! You decide.

$$$ All for a five dollar note! $$$

Hi all. Yes , i know that i have not posted for quite a long time mainly because of the whole getting use to be the new sec two boy thing.Well, just two days before, i was at a market-shop area to buy a mouth rinse named Colgate plax and it was sold in a shop that sells them at $7.90 that comes in a medium size of the mouth rinse and a smaller version that is pack together with the medium size. As i was queuing to pay for my purchase, i found that one of my 5 dollar note was torn and it was made of plastic! But sadly i only realized that till i handed my money to the cash register and she told me in Chinese :'Ah boy!One of your five dollar note is already torn,i am afraid i could not accept this money', I immediately frowned and gave the cash tender a ten dollar note and left in a hurry.Having encountering this for the very first time, i had no idea what to do with this money.Thoughts just race through my mind, should i throw this note away? Should i put up some sticky tape to the back and insert it into the machine to 'fool' it?
The next day , while i was in school, i asked some of my friends for their opinion and to my surprise, they have no idea what to do with a note like that. Having an idea, i patiently waited until the time has reach our break time. During recess while i was buying my meal to have a great lunch, i asked the stall vendor for her own opinion and she said that it could be change at any local bank but it depends on the situation. Having an advice from an elderly , i followed her instructions and went to the bank and was lucky to get in before the door shut from the inside. There i waited for around 20 minutes waiting for the queue in front of me to decrease and at last it was my turn , phew! I finally got my 5 dollar back and you could almost imagined how much effort was place into this just to get my money back! Well i should stop now as i think you must think that this post should be the most longest post in my blog! Haha, thats all folks!

Newspaper, the best way to get news!

Hi all, by now you should have heard of the hit and run incident that happened in Bukit Panjang not long ago. It has been hard on me to forget this incident as this was not the first incident that happened. Another incident was near where i lived. It was said that two or three boys were seen jumping into a very big lake near a huge dam that never seemed to fill to the brim and was caught by one of the passerby whom thought they drowned into the lake itself and called the police and soon enough the police arrived with paramedics on standby and the civil defense force and the search for the boys continued till about 8pm and found nothing and during the search, one of the 'searchers' saw two or three boys( i am not sure how many) sitting by the lake looking quite wet which he suspected to be the boys seen earlier. Elsewhere, i was trying to get across a huge bridge that leads to the other side of the lake to get something,but it was too crowded with busybody standing all around the bridge and it took me like 2 minutes to get across what a waste of minutes!Well just telling this news to you as i could not find anything to write today so keep out for my next post!And so just you know, there is a shop called buzz all around Singapore and if you buy two newspaper you can have a lucky draw on the spot and stand to win great prizes and you cannot find offer this good elsewhere so get yours today!

Further actions to global warming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all as you know the topic, Global Warming has been a threat to us people living on earth and this time i am really serious about it.Although Singapore only contributes 1 percent to the damage cause to Earth, it does not mean that we could do nothing to help. As the scientist say that we may be experiencing rapid temperature increase to the daily weather we have here in Singapore, we must still help it by reducing our Carbon footprints. Alvin and the chipmunks - the squeakquel

Hi all! You should all know that there would be another movie that was a big hit not long ago Alvin and the chipmunks! Now there is Alvin and the chipmunks 2 - the squeakquel and this time they have a rival and maybe they would find their first love? They are the chipette which is about the same characters as the chipmunks but they are girls that may attract the chipmunks but , why the sudden appearance? Well it turned out that the once known uncle Ian is not really in to the chipmunks and developed another group the chipettes and his reason, to take the chipmunks fame down! In the mean time Dave had a fateful accident and was hospitalized for a couple of days or weeks and decided that since no one would be at home taking care of them, Dave sent the boys to a school, That is also where they found out about the chipettes whom are actually being attracted by the chipmnks but lets just say that they did not hit it off that well. So, will they find their first love or end as enemies for life?
