Newspaper, the best way to get news!

Hi all, by now you should have heard of the hit and run incident that happened in Bukit Panjang not long ago. It has been hard on me to forget this incident as this was not the first incident that happened. Another incident was near where i lived. It was said that two or three boys were seen jumping into a very big lake near a huge dam that never seemed to fill to the brim and was caught by one of the passerby whom thought they drowned into the lake itself and called the police and soon enough the police arrived with paramedics on standby and the civil defense force and the search for the boys continued till about 8pm and found nothing and during the search, one of the 'searchers' saw two or three boys( i am not sure how many) sitting by the lake looking quite wet which he suspected to be the boys seen earlier. Elsewhere, i was trying to get across a huge bridge that leads to the other side of the lake to get something,but it was too crowded with busybody standing all around the bridge and it took me like 2 minutes to get across what a waste of minutes!Well just telling this news to you as i could not find anything to write today so keep out for my next post!And so just you know, there is a shop called buzz all around Singapore and if you buy two newspaper you can have a lucky draw on the spot and stand to win great prizes and you cannot find offer this good elsewhere so get yours today!

Hi all as you know the topic, Global Warming has been a threat to us people living on earth and this time i am really serious about it.Although Singapore only contributes 1 percent to the damage cause to Earth, it does not mean that we could do nothing to help. As the scientist say that we may be experiencing rapid temperature increase to the daily weather we have here in Singapore, we must still help it by reducing our Carbon footprints. If you are asking what is a carbon footprint, you don't have to worry , i am coming to that. Alvin and the chipmunks - the squeakquel

Hi all! You should all know that there would be another movie that was a big hit not long ago Alvin and the chipmunks! Now there is Alvin and the chipmunks 2 - the squeakquel and this time they have a rival and maybe they would find their first love? They are the chipette which is about the same characters as the chipmunks but they are girls that may attract the chipmunks but , why the sudden appearance? Well it turned out that the once known uncle Ian is not really in to the chipmunks and developed another group the chipettes and his reason, to take the chipmunks fame down! In the mean time Dave had a fateful accident and was hospitalized for a couple of days or weeks and decided that since no one would be at home taking care of them, Dave sent the boys to a school, That is also where they found out about the chipettes whom are actually being attracted by the chipmnks but lets just say that they did not hit it off that well. So, will they find their first love or end as enemies for life? Hi all guess my topic for today. Yay te-te-de the year of 2010! For some it maybe a new year get it new year? Never mind back to the question for some it may be a new year to them and for some ..... let's just say they have changed in terms of voice etc. you should know what i am hitting at, it starts like this puber.. ya you should know. Well if you are not ready for the year 2010 fret not because the 2010 countdown is here to get you started on your next year and a bonus feature, you only returned to school on 4th of January as the first will be on Friday and it happens that this day you don't have to come to school and the following days are Saturday and Sunday so you will start school on Monday which i am sure that your first week in school will not be so stressful as it may be an introducing of the teachers to learning more about the students it all comes down to that.Well see you next year!

Hi all ! So today i went to Bukit Panjang Plaza to have dinner with my sister and was just in time to finish our meals to see a 7pm show on Annie Boannanie. The show was amazing as i watch annie herself perform tricks that amazed me mainly as she showed me how ballons can be fun and the show was really inspiring and fun so if you do not want to miss her on stage make sure you visit Bukit Panjang Plaza to see her as it would be the last show tomorrow because she will be leaving tomorrow back into her own country the united kingdom. My trip to vivo city!

Hi all! So i went to vivo city on my birthday itself and it was a blast as before the big day itself my brother graduated from his bmt( basic military training ) and brought me to vivo city to search for the birthday gift i mention in my earlier post . There i saw mickey and minnie made out of cardboard . Then we went to the highest level where it was a opened space area with small kiddy pools and i soak my feet in the water and it was cooling and relaxing at the same time.Overall the whole process was just fun. What i want for my birthday.

Hi all, i am 1 day away from my birthday and i really wish i could get something. I have already thought of it and decided that it will be great if my parents gave me a pair of pinhole glasses. (To check out these glasses , go to www.thebatesmethod.com) Basically it is a type of glasses with black lenses but filled with holes the size that a pin could create. This holes helps you to focus on them as these are the only holes for you to see and by focusing at these different points, you are actually decreasing your eyesight degrees making it possible for you to read without your glasses. But of cause , you have to wait for results . But by the 3rd to 4th week, you should be able to see objects near to you well not that clear but at least you can make out the words written in food packages like nutrition values and etc. Well , looking forward to my birthday!

My Birthday!!!!!!

Hi all, guess what , it will be my birthday quite soon. Actually it is on the 10 of December i was born in the year 1996. During those days i was so playful i steal things from my friends and then gave them back and pretend that i found it wicked hun? My family consist of a mother a father a brother(currently in the navy) and a sister(studies in a special school) if you do not know the meaning of a special school i will tell you now. A special school is not for smart nor dumb people but for students with disability well i am not saying that my sister is without a arm or anything but she is 17 years old but have a mind of a 3 year old weird! Well mostly if you see me n school i don't really smile much as i am not usually happy even when i am , i still don't smile much. Well it is already difficult for me to look after my sister, let alone the housework. Yep, i do housework! There is only one reason for this it is because both my parents work 12 hours a day and come home late at night i don't really get to see them much as by the time i woke up, they already head off to work and since my brother is in the navy, i even do the 'dangerous' jobs like hanging the clothes and attach it to the bamboo holder (i think that is how you spell it) iron the clothes , sweeping the floors to cleaning the fans you name it , i have done it before . Well i am going to write till here bye and have a great day!

Hey all! I don't know if you notice but... do you find some similarities between you and me? If your answer is yes you are a nerd like me ! OK , the first thing that i like to do are reading books , self - centered , always walk fast without people knowing you passed them , wait till someone else comes infront of you to borrow something when they do not know whom to borrow from , never really like to hang out with friends that often as you feel that things like that can wait till friendship blooms and never hesitate when an opportunity comes knocking at your door. So, these are just some of the things that i do if you have any of these you may be a nerd! Well , not for long. Who knows, you may be a nerd without people knowing it as sometimes a nerd does not really mean someone is smart in subjects but it can also mean being a professional in something else like computer games etc. So remember, don't think a nerd is just being smart, but also can be a nerd being good in something else. Review on movie 2012

Hi all! Today i have the honor to join my brother Jason, to watch the movie 2012! I said i have the 'honor' as my brother is now in the navy and he happens to come home yesterday at about 8 o'clock and he has to leave tomorrow at 8 plus! So today we slept till about 9.30 am and we began to wash up and prepare to see the movie at 12.40pm. Overall, the movie was great but i don't find the hilarious part funny at all as i don't take jokes! The movie actually lasted for about 2 hour and a half i guess. It is mainly about a family consisting of two childrens a mother and two father one of which is the real father of the two children but is now divorce with the wife and the father now is the lucky husband to the wife. The scene took place in the year 2012 where the movie shot several scenes in different countries and it let you see the effects of different places at first, it was earthquake following by cracks on roads, floors etc. Then next is tsunami and a lot of people died in front of you as disaster stroke. But mainly in the end the lucky father actually died as massive gears killed the father like biscuits . So, if you are looking for an adventurous movie or you are a movie fan yourself, watch 2012!

We Are One

Birthdays, birthdays. Why birthdays?

Hi all , you know what, it is going to be my father's birthday tomorrow and the day after will be my brothers turn. You know, actually i don't remember my family member's birthday , really! Well from young the only birthday i knew is only MINE, yup because since young,i have this habit of only remembering my own birthday and telling my family what i wanted but believe me, now i don't. Well for my birthday, now, will be that my parents give me a sum of money maybe between 10 to 20 dollars each and asked me to buy myself something and i always said that i do not need a birthday cake simply because after singing 'happy birthday' we eat the cake and there would be some left overs but since that day, no one touches it because on the day i am having my birthday my parents will ask me for 4 digits so that they can buy... you should know already. they eat the birthday cake on the same day so that the numbers will come true! Well, sometimes. Today, i was stupid enough to notice that my father's birthday is tomorrow and my brothers birthday the day after and i bought my brother's gift first , thinking i could buy my father's birthday present tomorrow. Now i know i am dead well a good 'dead' to be sure.
Well i hope you will not be as muddle-head as i am.

GLOBAL WARMING! PUT A STOP TO IT!

Hi all! I'm back again. Well if you didn't noticed but, do you realised that i have been having lots of time posting posts like this? You guessed it it was my school holiday! Well, i know some of you have got an even early holiday than me but i count myself lucky as i don't get a later holiday than primary school! Okay, enough about that i am going to tell you the main thing i am going to write err, type today. By now you should know the main chapter that is happening to our earth today and that is global warming! If you didn't know, global warming is not caused by nature but us! Yes, us! We are the ones causing mother earth to be crying in pain and we should put a stop to it! Err, i haven't thought about anything yet but i will still tell you things that you CAN do! Well first things first, as you know it, Save Electricity! This is the main thing we could do as it just takes someone to switch off the circuit and ta da! You all know the movie 2012? Well it features earth being so-called destroyed. You know what, this may really happen! It is said that scientist are now believing that earth may really be destroyed near the year 2012 although that they do not have enough evidence to prove this theory. Well, if YOU don't believe it, i do! We must now really take this seriously and start acting now before all of us exist. Well i hope this post will put an impact on you to know your own limits.

You're ready? Good!

Hi all! This next post is mostly the continued part of my 'are u ready?'. Well,i found out that almost 85 percent of the people in average would probably 'throw' away the ideal mind map that they have made and just pay attention in class even worst, some of them did not even try!Well i am writing again to improvise the power of the mind map. You see, by using a mind map, you are actually trying to,
-shorten each chapter.
-make each chapter easy to remember like the back of your hands.
-extract 'KEYWORDS' that are more important then the other text that are inside.
For example,try reading and understand what this is trying to say,

'For centuries, it is know to human that the human brain is made of two brain, the left brain and the right brain. As long as the right brain is damage, the left side of a human body turns paralyse and if the left brain is damage,the right side of the human body turns paralyse'.

Now try reading the text again below and see which is more easy to remember the top text or the one you are about to read.

'Human brain, two parts, left and right brain. right brain damage,left side paralyse,and vice-versa.

Now is it easier to see the main points of this short text? Well let me tell you a secret, almost 90 percent of the texts in a text book are what i call 'useless words' these words are just joined with the main points to make it sensible for one to read. But if you were to remember 100 percent of the text, you are nuts.This process is also what i call,'extracting KEYWORDS'! Well i hope my advice helps!

ARE YOU READY?

Hey all! I have a topic to share with you it is you guess it "are you ready?". What i meant was that are you ready for the new future that awaits you? Well i am not,because i think i could not cope with so many subjects that are pouring over my face like huge piles of sand. I know some of you face this as well. well,i am going to tell you something you might be able to try at least give a try because it works on me! the first thing that you want to do is to get your books that are awaiting you to flip them next year out and start reading them. It might be boring so i decided to add a twist. Instead of having to read it,all you have to do is to flip to the last page of every chapter and make a mind map that helps you understand better but,why the last page of every chapter? well, basically most textbooks should have a so - called summary in it. in the summary itself,you should be able to see the main points of a chapter and that is also known as extracting keywords.the summary actually helps you to shorten each chapter allowing more of the main points to be 'sucked' in by your brain which can actually store even more memories.well, i think i will write till here, thanks for viewing my blog!hope to receive your views.

Back from peer leader camp!

Hi all! I'm back!Finally days of tortures are over! The first day was the worst as our leader punished us for being late etc. and we have to do like hundred over push ups it was tiring.The second day we begin with a morning exercise with over 20 plus of push ups 20 plus of crouching without your legs on the ground but in the air.We then need to sleep in bunks over there oh,i forgotten to tell you the venue it was at jalan bahtera which many people say that there are two camps one of which is filled with "dirty things" and the other not so much.It was said that the girls toilet i meant one of them,has a snake living in it!ewww!The night was a torture itself as mosquito, flies and other insects come in to "feed" on you as the bunk was quite exposed to the air and i have like over 16 bites on one arm.Try to beat my record!Ha ha i was only kidding you don't have to laugh just a grin will also do! Well i would say that i cannot write anymore words!Who am i kidding,i'm typing! i guess i am tired after that camp.well wait for my next post!

hi all i know i was lazy not to write after a period of time but sadly tmr will be my second camp called peer leader camp it is for nominees that are (selected) or other wise know as (sabo), for me only cus i was once (sabo) for the class secretary another time for prefect and now peer leader. peer leaders are mostly the (hyper)ones they are those who don't care how others think about them but are more of like self-motivated. if u know me well, u know i am not really hyper but i will do my best in this camp may good luck fall on me!i did a little research like i always do before an excursion to know its background and more of the facilities there. well i hope to receive ur blessings and will it rain tomorrow cus there will not be any outdoors activities wa hahahahahahahahahahahahaha no really wish that it will rain.

hi all! its great writing another blog well i haven't wrote a blog since a longgggggggggggggg time ago. guess what during the 2nd,3rd and 4th of june 2009 our school had a camp called mega camp as u know i really hate camp but since it was compulsory i went to the camp. the next thing, i really enjoyed the camp this changed how i think camps are. the camp was held in our school Fajar Secondary School. Shocked huh i know but u still hav to go there if u wanted a express stream. Enough about that as i was saying the camp was held in our school and when we first started we were notin our own groups instead we were mixed within the sec twos and threes.oh this camp was for the class commitee otherwise known as pupils who are slected in being something like chairman etc. then we were split into gentlemens and ladies where the gentlemens can not enter the ladies bunk and vice versa well the three days two night at the school was great especially when it was night time as the whole school looks very creepy. well i will stop here thanks again.

hi all today is a really tough day for me cus there are homeworks to be done well as of to day we played a game called baba naga i think the name sounds weird but it turn out to be quite fun. ok i will tell u how it's played firstly the teacher splits the whole class into two then one half of them go out while the rest are in side waiting for the teacher that is outside to fin explaining how the game is played after that the teacher came in and told ask the rules of the game the teacher told ask to imagine we were villagers from a island baba naga and the teacher told us that the other half that were outside were some passenger that fell from a plane crash and their motive is to get near the commander to ask for directions but although we (the ones inside the class) the baba naga are suspicious of them as the last time they were here they placed a bomb in our island and we can only speak to the passenger in baba naga language and not eng or chinese. so if u point yourself and say baba at the same time it means (friend) if u point at anyone and say naga it means (stranger) and if u say baba and lift both ur hands up and down, it means (yes) and if u say naga and lift ur hands from left to right,it means (no) .then each of us is given twenty rubber bands and is to keep it in our pockets and when we want to try to make freinds with the (passenger) we simply give them two rubber bands and if they keep it it means that they do not one to be friends with u so to show a sign that u are angry simply keep pulling ur own rubberband (for baba naga not the passenger) if they do the same it means that they want to break friendship between the two of u and the baba nag is not to even speak to them but if they return u one rubber band it means that they want to be friends with u then u can bring them to the selected commander only when the passenger are with the baba naga then he or she can access to the commander (which is with the baba naga and to be chosen by teacher) the commander will give the (friend) a different colour of rubber bands and the (friend) will wear it and if he (passenger)has the different colour bands all the baba nagas can talk to him or her in english the whole aim is that the (passenger)do not no what the baba naga is saying and needs to try and communicate with the baba naga. and after the game each of the (passenger) tells how they felt when they came into the class most of them said that the baba naga are bonkers. and what they think the rubberbands were for most of them thought that they were selling rubber bands. have fun and remember u can only play with this game once and the the teacher cannot tell the passenger what each language means bye!

hi all sorry for blogging till now cus i have been quite busy or my brother needs to use the computer. anyway,life in secondary school is much much much different then in primary school. like u get to know other people whom u don't know and most importantly, u are not use to the environment well i still miss my primary sch frenzs well that's all folks!
